National Theatre: On Demand. In Schools

National Theatre: On Demand. In Schools

PLEASE NOTE: We have now launched the National Theatre Collection, a unique collection of high quality recordings of world-class productions, plus a range of tailored learning resources. The National Theatre Collection draws on ten years of NT Live broadcasts alongside Archive recordings which have never before been seen outside of the National Theatre Archive, allowing us to share a larger and more diverse selection of productions than previously available. Find out more.

National Theatre On Demand In Schools is only available to fee-paying schools until the end of March 2020, and to state-funded schools until July 2020. After those points, you will need to sign up to the National Theatre Collection.

The plays are curriculum-linked and supported by specially-designed teaching resources, created in collaboration with teachers and leading artists.

Each production has been recorded in high definition in front of a live theatre audience, and is available to watch whenever you like, as much as you like, for free. The productions can be navigated easily – so you can jump straight to the scene you need.

The service is free to use and available on demand. No special software is required – just a computer with a broadband connection.

This service is available exclusively to teachers at schools within the UK.

National Theatre: On Demand. In Schools is supported by Stavros Niarchos Foundation, the Sidney E. Frank Foundation, Fondation Hoffmann and Tom & Sara Attwood. Titles and resources for primary schools supported by The Goldsmiths' Company Charity.
