Overview

This written resource explores creative production elements in Dear England, with focus on our 2023 production. The pack also aids discussion around important themes: identity, equality and gender, and can be used to support the PE and PSHE curriculum.

It remains relevant to the 2025 production, though please note new cast information.

Learning outcomes

This resource will support students’ understanding of various production elements in theatre as part of the GCSE and A level Drama course, in addition to discussion of challenging themes.

It also offers idea on how the production can be used to support the PE and PSHE curriculum.
