Stephen Sondheim’s final musical, Here We Are

A minimalist illustration showing six people walking on a turquoise path. A man in white walks ahead alone, while a group of five people in colorful outfits follows behind. The background is a solid bright red.

We are incredibly excited that Stephen Sondheim’s final musical, Here We Are, will have its UK premiere here at the National Theatre this spring.

Here We Are will be brought to life by a multi award-winning creative team, a formidable company and a live orchestra led by Nigel Lilley (conductor of Follies).

Producing a new musical is a significant undertaking. A gift in support of Here We Are will ensure that our creative powerhouse stages a world-class, unforgettable production of Sondheim’s final work.

Gifts of all sizes are welcome. We hope that, together, we can cement the National Theatre as the UK home of the legendary composer’s work.
