Together and Separate: a workshop on physical staging and bringing texts to life through movement.

In this practical weekend-long workshop led by movement director and choreographer Imogen Knight, you will explore how the body tells stories through physical action, and play with the concepts of togetherness and separation.

Imogen Knight is a choreographer, director and movement director. She works across theatre, classical and electronic music, performance art, film, tv, photography, and opera. Theatre credits include Our Ladies of Perpetual Succour (National Theatre of Scotland, National Theatre, UK tour and West End); Amadeus, The Threepenny Opera, Les Blancs, (National Theatre); Jesus hopped the A Train (Young Vic).

You don’t need any experience in movement or dance to take part, just a willingness to join in and share ideas.

How to apply:

To apply, please complete this form by Wednesday 20 February We will be asking everyone to attend a practical audition workshop on 26 February, so we can meet you, play some games and find out more about who you are. Please let us know which times you are able to attend when you apply.

We would never want the cost of a project to prevent anyone from taking part. A limited number of travel bursaries are available. If you would like to apply for one, please indicate this on the form when you apply.
