Making Interactive Theatre with Coney

Young people taking part in a NT youth workshop

Making Interactive Theatre with Coney

Are you excited by the possibilities of interactive theatre? Do you want to be an agent for change?

Led by Coney, this creative development weekend will use an innovative approach to theatre-making in a digital world, using technology to interact with audiences and spark conversations about the climate emergency.

During the weekend you will collaborate to create an original piece of interactive theatre and have the opportunity to play it with a live audience on Wednesday 6 May.

Coney are interactive theatre-makers. They create games, adventures and play where people can choose to take a meaningful part. Their work takes place anywhere that people gather: in theatres, schools, museums, on the streets and online.

Workshop dates:
Saturday 2 May, 10am–5pm
Sunday 3 May ,10am–5pm
Wednesday 6 May, 4.30–8pm

John Lyons Education Studio

How to apply:

To apply, please complete this form by Monday 20 April. We will be asking everyone to attend a practical audition workshop on Tuesday 28 April, so we can meet you, play some games and find out more about who you are. Please let us know which times you are able to attend when you apply.

Support with travel:

We would never want the cost of a project to prevent anyone from taking part. A limited number of travel bursaries are available. If you would like to apply for one, please indicate this on the form when you apply.
