How do costume designers go from a few words in a script to the costumes you see being worn on a stage? In this practical, three-week course, the National Theatre’s Costume department will lead you through a practical design process. You’ll learn how to explore and interpret text, imagery and materials to create and present your own costume designs.
You don’t need to have any experience to take part, just an interest in design and theatre.
To apply please complete this form by Wednesday 9 January. This is your chance to tell us about your interest in writing and theatre. The more information you include (within the word count), the more we will understand about you and why you want to take part.
We would never want cost to prevent anyone from taking part. Full and part-funded bursary places are available. If you would like to apply for one, please indicate this on the application form when you apply
