Whether you’re just starting to direct or you’re already making work, this practical three-week course will develop your skills through learning by doing. Explore different techniques in working with actors, moment-to-moment listening and activating text. The course is led by National Theatre Resident Director, Breman Rajkumar.
Breman has also been Resident Director at Kiln Theatre. He was awarded the Directors Guild Award and has an MFA in Playwriting and Dramaturgy from the Lir Academy, Trinity College.
To apply please complete this form by Tuesday 5 November. This is your chance to tell us about your interest in writing and theatre. The more you tell us – within the word limit – the more we will understand about you and why you want to take part.
We would never want the cost of a course or project to prevent anyone from taking part. A limited number of full and part-funded bursary places are available. If you would like to apply for one, please indicate this on the form when you apply.
