Khadija Raza

For the National:

Khadija Raza trained at Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. She was a Linbury Prize winner in 2017 and won the Stage Debut Award for Best Designer, 2018.

Theatre

Set and costume design for theatre includes: Untitled F*ck M*ss S**gon Play for the Royal Exchange, Manchester, Manchester International Festival, Headlong and the Young Vic; Every Leaf is a Hallelujah and Antigone at Regent’s Park; Julius Caesar at Shakespeare’s Globe and on UK tour; The Flood at Queen’s, Hornchurch; Talking About a Revolution at the Barn; A History of Water in the Middle East at the Royal Court; Augmented for the Royal Exchange and on UK tour; The Bee in Me and Dido at the Unicorn; Acirema, Love Reign and Sundown Kiki at the Young Vic; My White Best Friend (and other letters left unsaid) at the Bunker; Spun at the Arcola; Philoxenia and Hijabi Monologues at the Bush; Cacophony at the Almeida and The Yard; Mixtape at the Royal Exchange; and 4.48 Psychosis at the Young Vic.

Set design includes: Skin Hunger for Dante or Die.

Costume design includes: Bach and Sons at the Bridge.

As assistant or associate, work includes: King of Hell’s Palace at Hampstead; Well at Sanofi Factory; English Eccentrics for British Youth Opera; and L’heure Espagnole at Opera Nationale de Lorraine.
