As a writer, work includes: Dick Whittington, Cinderella and Jack and the Beanstalk at the Lyric, Hammersmith; and Nanjing at The Yard, Shakespeare’s Globe and for Theatertreffen Stückemarkt.

As a director, recent work includes: Titus Andronicus at Shakespeare’s Globe, and world premieres As You Write It for Shakespeare North Playhouse; Violet for Britten Pears; Pleasure Seekers at Soho Theatre; The Wellspring at the Royal & Derngate; Ten Thousand Heartbeats for Tamasha; My Mum’s a T***, Bodies and Lela & Co. at the Royal Court; Parliament Square at the Royal Exchange and Bush; and UK premieres of Trust and I’d Rather Goya Robbed Me Of My Sleep Than Some Other A******* at the Gate.

Adaptations include: Peter Pan for Brageteatret; and othellomacbeth at the Lyric Hammersmith and HOME.
