Gillian Slovo’s work as a novelist includes five crime novels featuring detective Kate Baeier, as well as Ties of Blood, The Betrayal, Red Dust, Ice Road, Black Orchids and Ten Days. Her family memoir Every Secret Thing: My Family, My Country was an international best seller.
