The director and writer discuss their production of Julie.

Carrie Cracknell’s work at the National includes The Deep Blue Sea, Medea and Blurred Lines. Cracknell was Artistic Director of the Gate Theatre from 2007 to 2012, and Associate Director at both the Young Vic (2012–13) and the Royal Court (2013–14).

Polly Stenham’s work at the National includes Hotel. Stenham’s plays include That Face which transferred to the West End from the Royal Court and won her the Critic’s Circle Award for Most Promising Playwright, Tusk Tusk and No Quarter also at the Royal Court.
